Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your breakfast your guide will pick you from hotel and will drive south westwards, have a stop over at the royal drums and at Mbarara for lunch. Continue through the beautiful hilly country to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the luxurious gorilla resort, budget community ground and tourist hotel Kisoro/Travelers Hotel-Kisoro.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
After a hearty breakfast, move to the park head quarters forbriefing before the start of the tracking. You will be guidedthrough a thick impenetrablest, pushing down succulentvegetation through to the gorillas. Sitting amongst gorillasas they murmur and grumble is such a fantastic experience. You will have photographic opportunities so close toour close relatives. You are strongly encouraged to havepacked lunch, 2litres of water, jungle boots, rain gears,and back pack. After safari you are rebriefed. Dinner andovernight at luxurious gorilla resort, budget community campground/tourist hotel Kisoro/travelers hotel Kisoro-Full board
Day 3.Tree Climbing lions of Ishasha
After breakfast, transfer to Ishasha, the southern sectorof Queen Elizabeth national park, search for famous treeclimbing lions. If lucky, the cats may be seen up in lowinclined fig trees resting after a good meal. You will also atclose range see the topis, elephants, Kobs and primates on your way to mweya. Have lunch en route.In the afternoon proceed to mweya and take game drive to scenic crater region. Dinner and Overnight at at luxurious Mweya Safari Lodge/Midrange Jacana Lodge/Budget Instituteof Ecology Hostel or Hippo Hill Lodge.
Day 4. Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After an early morning coffee, proceed for game drive through the Kasenyi We arelooking for the cats, the lions and the hyenas. You will be mesmerized by the spectacularkob lec in the mating ground where they mix withother antelopes and the cape buffalos. Return to hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, board the launch cruise on theKazinga channel. This takes 3 hours and you willcome in close range with wildlife; large schools of Hippo, herds of cape buffalos and elephantsin shallows wallowing and drinking water by the shores of the river. Hippo huffs barely a feet away in the shallows. You will see lots of water lovers; pied kingfisher, malachite king fisher, fish eagles, comrants, gulls, geese, wablers, sparwings, pink backed pelicans. You will also see crocodiles. In the evening you proceed to fort portal for dinner and overnight luxurious primates lodge, Ndali lodge / Midrange Rwenzori view Hotel / Budget Nyinabulitwa country resort or Fort Motel. (Full Board).
Day 5 Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Kibale forest National Park. Kanyanchu River camp is the centre of the major tourism activities. The friendly and experienced tour guides will share their knowledge with you on primates, birds, elephants, butterflies, reptiles,
amphibians, trees, medicinal plants and chimpanzees. Report to tourist centre for briefingand the walk starts from Kanyanchu river camp at 8:00am or 3:00 pm and lasts for2-4 hours and is the most popular walk. Its restricted to three groups of six persons each,in the morning and the same number in theafter noon. You will be guided to the chimpsand along the way you will come very close to other primates; the red tailed monkey, the grey checked mangabey, the L’hoest monkey,red colobus monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and of course the chimpanzees.You may have a chance to see the blue turaco and silver headed hornbill. After lunchin fortportal, return to Kampala arriving late in the evening and drive back to Entebbe to catch your evening flight back home.
