3 Hours Before Flight Time
Birds to be spotted include the Long-toed Lapwing, Little Bittern Osprey, Red-necked Falcon, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, Vinaceous Dove and Grosbeak Weaver
After breakfast your will head, with your driver-guide, to Mabamba Wetland, where most of the birding is done from a canoe. Be on the look-out for the Shoebill in the sky and down in the marsh. Here you will be able to spot the Blue-breasted bee-eater, White-faced Whistling duck, and the African Pygmy Goose. By evening you will be back in your Kampala lodging safe and sound.
On your way to Budongo Forest be on the look-out for the Yellow and Grey Long-bills, Chocolate-backed Kingfisher, Rufous-sided Broadbill, and many others. Depend on your driver-guide to help spot the Forest’s birds. In the evening you might spot Bat Hawk, African Wood Owl, or the White-faced Wood Owl, to name a few. A relaxing evening and fine dinner await you at your lodge.
Murchison Falls National Park is your next destination. This is Uganda’s largest national park where, along with the many varieties of birds you will find many of the animals you would expect, such as African elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, and antelope. In the afternoon there is a wonderful and relaxing river cruise scheduled where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of water birds including the shoe bill. Find rest and a delicious dinner as you return to your lodge.

After breakfast your driver-guide will take you to Kibale Forest National Park. On arrival relax at the lodge and/or go for a twilight nature walk where you will be able to spot some night birds like the owl. After dinner enjoy a restful evening.
In the morning you will be taken to the park headquarters for an informative briefing about your upcoming adventure in the forest. With a guide you will head out to view the wide variety of birds such as Scaly Francolin, Marsh Tchagra, Black-bellied Seed cracker, and the Green-backed Twin spot and much more! During your time in the forest you will also see the primates playing and hiding in the foliage. This will be one of life’s most amazing adventures. Enjoy your evening at your lodge.
Once you have had breakfast, your driver-guide will drive you through beautiful scenery as you head to Semiliki National Park. The Yellow-throated Nicator, Northern Bearded Scrub Robin, Red-chested owlet, and Western Bronze-napped Pigeon all live within the park boundaries. After this adventure you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful sleep. See you in the morning.
Early in the morning you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Once inside the park you will have lunch and head for a relaxing boat cruise along Kazinga Channel where there is opportunity to see the African Skimmer, Striated Heron, African Spoonbill, African Crake, Water Thick-knee, and Three-banded Plover. Along with this you will see wildlife along the shore resting and cooling off in the water. Check in to your lodge and enjoy your last evening on safari.
With the sun up be ready for an early morning game drive where you will see much of the park’s wildlife such as the tree climbing lion, giraffes, elephants, and antelopes along with a large variety of birds.
